The short version: Apzin does not operate an account system or advertising service for Carryover. The app stores your progress and preferences locally and does not send them to Apzin. Game Center, App Store purchases, and device backups are provided by Apple and are covered below.
Information stored on your device
Carryover stores your game progress, appearance and haptic-feedback preferences, notification preference, and cached purchase entitlement status in the app's local storage. When an endless-mode score is waiting to be submitted to Game Center, the app also stores the chapter, score, date and time, a random identifier for the round, and your Game Center player identifier when available.
Carryover does not send this locally stored information to Apzin. Depending on your Apple backup settings, Apple may include app data in an iCloud or computer backup. Deleting Carryover removes its local data from that device; copies in a device backup are managed by Apple under its policies and your backup settings.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, Carryover asks iOS for notification permission and schedules reminders locally on your device. Apzin does not receive your notification status or use a server to send these reminders. You can disable reminders in Carryover or in iOS Settings.
Game Center
When Game Center is available, Carryover asks Apple to authenticate your Game Center account when the app starts. Apple may provide the app with your Game Center player identifier and display name. Carryover uses Game Center to submit endless-mode scores and display leaderboard entries, including player names, ranks, and scores. Leaderboard participation is optional and can be managed through your Game Center and device settings.
Carryover does not send Game Center information to Apzin servers. Scores waiting for delivery are removed from the local queue after successful submission or when they expire. Apple's handling of Game Center data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and your Game Center settings.
In-app purchases
Carryover uses Apple's StoreKit service to retrieve product information and check your purchase entitlement, including when the app starts. If you make or restore a purchase, Apple processes it through the App Store and provides Carryover with the transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock paid content. Apzin does not receive your payment-card details. Apple's privacy policy and App Store terms apply to these services.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Carryover does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, targeted advertising, or a third-party crash-reporting service. The app does not directly send usage or diagnostic reports to Apzin, and Apzin does not sell or share personal information through Carryover.
Apple may provide Apzin with diagnostic reports or aggregated App Store information under Apple's programs and your device privacy settings. Apple controls how that information is collected and shared.
Children's privacy
Carryover does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Game Center and App Store purchase features are controlled by Apple Account, device, and parental settings. Parents and guardians can manage these features using Apple's parental controls.
Data security and retention
Game progress and preferences remain in Carryover's local storage until the app is deleted. Pending Game Center scores are removed after delivery or expiry, scheduled reminders are replaced or cancelled as needed, and cached purchase status is refreshed against Apple's records. Apple retains purchase history, Game Center information, and backups according to its policies and your settings.
Your choices
- Choose whether to participate in Game Center leaderboards.
- Decline or disable notification permission.
- Manage or disable Game Center through your Apple Account and device settings.
- Manage App Store purchases and device backups through your Apple Account and device settings.
- Delete Carryover to remove its locally stored information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Carryover's features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
